Father charged in death of infant son

A 24-year-old Croswell man was arraigned Monday on a charge of second-degree murder for the death of his four-month-old son.
Robert Droelle was arrested and arraigned Monday, a week following Jordan Droelle’s death.
Jordan was taken by ambulance to Port Huron Hospital with severe head trauma before being airlifted to Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit April 2, according to a statement from the Michigan State Police Caro Post.
Police were told he died of his injuries April 9.
Robert Doelle is being held in the Sanilac County jail on a $750,000 surety or 10% cash bond. A pretrial conference is scheduled for 10 a.m. April 18.
Robert Droelle will return in front of District Judge Gregory Ross at 1:30 p.m. April 24th for a preliminary examination.
